Small numbers in class allow a strong personal note in day-to-day student-teacher interaction. Such a situation allows relatively relaxed discipline and a personal rapport with each student. We do not believe in corporal punishment or the use of humiliating tactics. We believe in a positive approach to discipline, which allows the child with self-governance. Most problems are avoided by providing a variety of appropriate activities. Special emphasis is laid on the emotional well-being of the child. Through a 3-way communication between teacher-child-parent, we try to understand the cause of misbehaviour. Persistent discipline problems will be brought to the parent’s attention.
